Jennifer Peralta-Ajemian is a Casting Director, Filmmaker, and Founder of the JPA. — a multidisciplinary storytelling company shaping culture through inclusive casting, narrative development, and strategic innovation. As Creative Lead, Jennifer brings a values-first approach to building the company, guided by a belief that creativity, innovation, and progress should remain deeply human.

Raised in a multicultural environment that celebrated both leadership and the arts, Jennifer cultivated a global vision shaped by an artistic perspective. A former ballet dancer, she began her career working alongside top talent agents and veteran casting directors, including Avy Kaufman, Bernard Telsey, Cindy Tolan, and Liz Lewis. Through these experiences, she recognized early on the need for more authenticity and inclusion in audiovisual storytelling.

In 2014, she founded Jennifer Ajemian Casting to champion historically underestimated voices across all screens. Her casting work has been recognized by many, including the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Austin Film Festival, the New York Latino Film Festival, SXSW, Tribeca, the New York Emmys, The New York Times, and the “Ellen” and “Today” shows.

In 2026, Jennifer launched the JPA. to expand her vision into a broader creative and strategic enterprise rooted in the values of journey, purpose, and authenticity. Today, JPA. spans casting and creative development, and emerging technology — interconnected areas working to reimagine narrative, amplify visibility, and reshape the cultural landscape. The company partners with filmmakers, studios, and industry leaders to build stories, systems, and opportunities that reflect truth, spark connection, and drive meaningful change.

She has also shared her expertise on panels hosted by Glass Elevator, Film Fatales, and the Globescreen Conference, and as a guest on podcasts like The Purpose Made and Represent Now, discussing authenticity, representation, and an infinite mindset.

Outside of entertainment, Jennifer played a crucial role in launching the international educational firm CATES, where she served as General Manager and remains a part owner. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Dance with a Minor in Journalism from Marymount Manhattan College and brings artistic depth and strategic clarity to every project she leads.
